To promote tourism, gastronomy and local traditions, from the Secretariat for Economic Development and the Tourism Section, we have been performing an activity with an accompaniment to the local gastronomics and to achieve new local products-based plates.
The “Gastronomy challenge” in Chia, Cundinamarca, was an initiative of the Mayor’s office to promote local culinary culture, highlighting the participation of restaurants such as 3 Soles Restaurant, that she earned with a plate of changa in textures, strengthening Chia as a tourist and gastronomic power. Currently, gastronomic events focused on initiatives such as Battle of Hamburgers in Suesca and the Gastronomy Festival of Tocantipá with local events and thematic fairs in the region.
Details of the Gastronomic Challenge of Chia:
Objective: To strengthen Chia’s cultural diversity and innovation as a heritage and to stimulate its tourism.
Participants: Local restaurants, such as 3 Soles Restaurant, have won a challenges of modern cuisine.
Impact: He put Chia as a gastronomic reference at national events.
The aim of this project is to innovate with new culinary alternatives with local and local food, all through the knowledge that the academy offers, with the accompaniment of the Seine from where tools have been provided for the construction of new trends that will strengthen food tourism in the City of the Moon.
